President, Director & CEO
Mr. Mark Kolebaba, has been instrumental in major discoveries since the 1980's and has experience with diamond, gold, silver and base metals. This experience ranges from early to advanced exploration, feasibility studies, and working in an operating mine. Mr. Kolebaba has held positions with BHP Billiton, Cominco Ltd. and the Northgate Group of companies. Mr. Kolebaba was part of the team that discovered the first 120 kimberlites at the Ekati Diamond Mine and was responsible for the initial discovery of the Hope Bay Gold deposit in Nunavut. Mr. Kolebaba served as President and CEO of Diamonds North Resources and Uranium North Resources where he and the exploration team acquired one of Canada's largest land positions. This work resulted in the discovery of the Amaruk project a diamondiferous kimberlite field and the advancement of a historic 6.7 M lb U308 deposit to the NI 43-101, 20 M lb U308 Amer lake Deposit. Mr. Kolebaba's strengths lie in project generation, project acquisition and new business development. His aggressive management style will be a significant advantage to the future development of Adamera Minerals.
Mark T. Brown
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Mark T. Brown, B.COMM., CPA, C.A., has been providing financial services to resource companies for over 25 years. Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1990 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Mr. Brown has a strong understanding of financial requirements of public companies and his corporate activities include transactions, financings and corporate financial planning. He managed the financial departments of two TSE 300 mining corporations: Eldorado Gold and Miramar Mining. Between 1990 and 1994, Mr. Brown worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Brown and his team at Pacific Opportunities assist the company with its financial requirements.
Mr. Liland brings over 25 years of corporate finance, accounting and management experience to Uranium North. In 1982 Mr. Liland joined the TSX Venture Exchange and held position of Vice President, Corporate Finance from 1999-2002. During this period Mr. Liland was involved in policy streamlining, and corporate finance review and was also a member of the Exchange's Executive Listings Committee. Currently Mr. Liland is a business consultant and a director of several public companies. Mr. Liland's understanding of corporate governance in the junior market sector is an asset to Adamera Minerals.
Yale Simpson, B.A.Sc
Yale Simpson has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geological Engineering) from the University of British Columbia, Canada and is a professional geologist. Yale has more than 30 years' experience as a senior geologist, exploration manager and CEO of companies involved in precious metals projects in Australia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Argentina. Those companies included Pennzoil Company, Chevron Exploration, Australmin Holdings, Black Swan Gold Mines Ltd. and Argosy Minerals Inc. Importantly, he and his exploration teams are credited with the exploration and development of several gold mines. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Exeter Resources and a Director of Rugby Mining. His particular expertise is in strategic resource planning and corporate communications.
Bernard Kahlert, B.Sc., P.Eng.
Bernard Kahlert is a professional geologist with over 40 years of expertise in gold and base metals in Western Canada, U.S.A, Australia and China. Mr. Kahlert is currently VP of Exploration for Commander Resources Ltd and Maritime Resources.
Mr. Lyons brings to Adamera Minerals over 30 years of business experience in natural resources, merchant banking and corporate restructuring activities. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Lyons is currently the Chairman of the Board of Northgate Minerals Corporation. Mr. Lyons is a director and officer of several public corporations including BC Pacific Capital Corporation, and Canaccord Capital Inc. Mr. Lyons also served as the Chairman of the Board of Westmin Resources Ltd. and was a director of the Battle Mountain Gold Company.
Mr. Faure has held positions with Cogema's SERU Nucleaire Canada, ELF Aquitaine and the French Atomic Commission (CEA) in various capacities including Chief Geologist, Project Manager and Consultant exploring for uranium in Canada, Iran, Cameroon, Turkey and Columbia. Mr. Faure also held position as expert to the International Atomic Energy Association in Pakistan and Egypt. Among many accomplishments, Mr. Faure is credited with leading the team that discovered the Cigar Lake deposit during his tenure as President of COGEMA's Canadian subsidiary S.E.R.U Nucleaire Canada Ltd. Cigar Lake in the Athabasca Basin is the world's largest undeveloped high-grade uranium deposit. Mr. Faure has also been senior consultant to two other discoveries, the UEX Raven Horseshoe deposit and the Ben Lamond deposit in Australia.
